Triplay is an Al driven travel advisory app created by travel and tech enthusiasts.
It allows users to input their needs, preferences, cultural interests and desired moods (romance, adventure, relaxation, etc.) to receive personalised travel recommendations to fit any budget or eco requirement, with the ability to export routes to Google Maps once the user has input a preferred mode of transport.
The Al recommends what to pack for the weather you’re likely to encounter, and gives indicators for the likely costs of restaurants, whether hotels are dog friendly and what cultural events are going on that you might like during your stay. Turning on notifications allows for real-time updates, and syncing Triplay with your email allows it to notify you of changes, with the offer of solutions. The machine learning system means the more it’s used, the better it knows you, especially if users give feedback on suggestions made.
The tool offers real-time translation and commonly used phrases can be downloaded for use offline in the absence of internet connectivity. Profiles can be created for each traveller, for example, co-ordinating meeting schedules and multiple flights of a group of business travellers, with integration to work calendars. The system can analyse reviews, allowing travellers to experience what locals love and tourists typically miss. Free at the time of launching.
