Combining exhibition space, a café and NFT showroom, Extraterrestrial Space Corporation (ESC) is a retail initiative by Space Monster Concepts. The Seoul concept store main spatial features are a space for artwork display, music booth, experimental drink-and-dessert lab and a viewing area for multimedia content. The Space Monster Concepts store is a hub for video, painting, sculpture and crypto art.
Later this year, it will incorporate an NFT ATM, with digitalized artwork by creatives for sale. The studio’s design is inspired by the idea of an extraterrestrial laboratory. A large screen draws visitors into the store; its projections are fully visible from the exterior. Glossy black flooring, back-lit surfaces and small alien sculptures ominously contained behind glass cement the galactic feel inside.
