Glico-owned food brand Pejoy has launched a “beauty snacks” range with products that are said to satisfy hunger, while making your skin glow.

The company has created a new range of its indulgent biscuit and breadstick brand Pejoy, which focuses on health and beauty. The new breadstick products are flavoured with different fruits and contain niacinamide, a form of vitamin B thought to have skin brightening effects.

As food and beverage brands continue to pivot towards healthy ingredients with functional benefits it seems the logical next step to see food treated as a beauty product.

To underline this, Pejoy has collaborated with popular facial mask brand Chando on a limited-edition gift set known as a “skin brightening relax pack”. The idea was that users could eat a Pejoy snack while enjoying their Chando facial mask, which is also infused with niacinamide, to create a new beauty routine that truly merges traditional beauty products with snacking.
