Netflix at The Grove is an immersive 10,000-square-foot shopping extravaganza at The Grove in Los Angeles, opening in October 2022, offering fans the opportunity to buy products from some of Netflix’s most popular series and films like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and Squid Game among others.
Netflix’s original entertainment franchises will “come to life through colourful, photo-ready vignettes,” the company said, featuring life-size versions of characters and artefacts including Vecna; the terrifying Young-Hee robotic doll from “Squid Game”; and Queen Charlotte’s throne from the “Bridgerton” prequel.
Highlight products include apparel from the iconic Hellfire Club seen in Stranger Things, Pat McGrath makeup sets and teas celebrating the drama of Bridgerton as well as activity books, toys and apparel from the popular kids and family shows Gabby’s Dollhouse, Ada Twistand CoComelon. Fans are also able to “enrol” at the School for Good and Evil, take an Addams Family photo, peek inside Enola Holmes’ office and enjoy Gabby’s dollhouse.
In early December, Netflix at The Grove will expand its experiential offerings to include a second floor featuring “immersive elements” tied to originals coming to the service this holiday season, the company said.
Netflix previously opened pop-up stores for Stranger Things and Bridgerton and an ecommerce platform in June 2021 selling a curated selection of apparel and lifestyle accessories linked to its popular television shows. In addition, the company has produced live immersive experiences for several originals including Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Money Heist and Army of the Dead.
The pop-up shop at The Grove is Netflix’s first multi-title brick-and-mortar destination, and will remain open to the public through January 6, 2023.
