Luxury fashion website Net-A-Porter has launched a new section on its site that champions brands committed to sustainability.

Net Sustain has been launched as a “platform for brands, products and content driven by a desire to make fashion more sustainable.”

At launch the platform included more than 400 items, and Net-A-Porter has promised to add more styles to the edit every season. Each item on the platform has been vetted by the Net-A-Porter team to ensure it represents at least one of five key attributes the e-tailer is trying to promote. These attributes are: Locally made; Craft and Community; Considered Materials; Considered Processes; and Reducing Waste.

Featured brands at launch include Stella McCartney, Mother of Pearl and Maggie Marilyn.
