LEGO has unveiled its first range of kits designed to help reduce stress and anxiety.
LEGO Forma, which is aimed at adults, comprises gears and rods instead of bricks alongside customisable skins to allow customers to create a mechanical fish that can move in a lifelike way. The idea underpinning the range is that the combination of mechanical work plus the organic form being created may help to calm sufferers of stress and anxiety.
The range was launched by LEGO Ideas, the Norwegian brand’s hub of open source innovation. It is the first to be piloted on Indiegogo, where LEGO Forma’s community will provide real-time feedback and determine if and how it should be developed and rolled out.
