KFC has opened a pop-up hotel in London in which guests can press a button to have free chicken brought to their rooms whenever they wish.

House of Harland, named after the first name of the brand’s founder Colonel Sanders, was open for 11 days in August and bookable for £111 per night on hotels.com, each referencing the brand’s secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices.

Fans of the brand booking a staycation at the hotel were picked up at King’s Cross train station by a KFC-branded Cadillac, before being greeted at the hotel by a ‘chick-in clerk’.

The suites included a Press for Chicken button that lets guests order free chicken to their rooms whenever they want, a KFC ‘Hot Winger Arcade Machine’, a cinema room, and a complimentary box of botanical self-care products for guests to use. The décor is heavily branded to give fans a truly immersive KFC experience.
