Inked Out at The Standard hotel caters to the rise of tattoo tourism

Catering to the rise of tattoo tourism, The Standard hotel is now offering an “Inked Out” package at its High Line and East Village locations in New York.

In collaboration with upscale Brooklyn tattoo studio Atelier Eva, this unique offering targets travellers who are willing to make a journey specifically for high-quality ink by renowned artists. According to Atelier Eva’s founder, Eva Karabudak, about 30-40% of the studio’s customers already come from out of town, booking a trip after following their favourite tattoo artists on Instagram.

Guests staying at The Standard’s East Village or High Line locations receive a $100 credit toward a tattoo session at Atelier Eva, along with priority booking access – removing much of the hassle of securing appointments with sought-after artists. To ensure guests’ new tattoos receive the best care, the package also includes complimentary aftercare products from Mad Rabbit, a skincare brand catering specifically to post-ink healing and preservation.
