Hype is a hydrogen mobility platform for taxis

Hype is the first hydrogen mobility platform for taxis, operating a fleet of cabs in Paris.

Since its launch in January 2023, Hype has been operating a fleet of taxis powered by hydrogen. The company received a €20m grant from the French government, enabling it to establish a comprehensive network of hydrogen charging stations across the capital. This charging infrastructure will also be accessible to other industry players.

Hype taxis boast a rapid five-minute charging time and an impressive range of 500 kilometres, marking a significant advancement in sustainable transportation.
