Rental platform Hirestreet has collaborated with Schuh to introduce its first-ever shoe rental collection.
The launch comes in response to surging demand for rental clothing – especially important for outfits for one-off events and special occasions. During summer 2023, the platform witnessed a surge in occasionwear rental, with a remarkable 300% increase in traffic year-on-year. Notably, the platform received 250 requests for shoe rentals to complement outfits just last month.
The pricing for rentals starts at £5 for a five-day period and £10 for ten days. The current collection comprises seven styles, encompassing platform sandals, strappy high heels and tie-up heels, providing customers with flexible and affordable options for enhancing their ensemble.
