Gin brand Bombay Sapphire has started offering branded cocktail making kits through Deliveroo.
The kits include gin, tonic water, flavourings and branded cups and mixers, giving people the tools to turn any takeaway into a Bombay Sapphire dinner party. The partnership was trialed in Brighton during late 2018.
This example demonstrates how the growing sentiment that “staying in is the new going out” creates a new opportunity for brands in customers’ homes. Beyond simply selling products, brands can now provide on-demand experiences, giving people the building blocks to host different types of parties and events in their homes.
