In collaboration with Velcro, circular plastics company Elif has developed a recyclable mono-material PE pouch with a fully recyclable PE closure.
The pouch is made from a single material, polyethylene (PE), which is a widely-recycled plastic commonly used in packaging applications. Elif uses electron-beam printing to ensure full recyclability. The use of a fully recyclable PE closure eliminates the need for separate closures made from other materials that may be more difficult to recycle.
