In November 2020 www.savemoneycutcarbon.com launched a new membership subscription, at £4.99 per month, giving corporate purchasers and individual consumers access to a curated assortment of sustainable products for use in the home. Available products range from compostable bin bags to cleaning detergents, LED lightbulbs and EV chargers, which are all available at manufacturer’s prices, making the model similar to that used by Beauty Pie.
The service comes with a dashboard tracking each individual’s annual eco savings, which can be incorporated into their employer’s ESG impact statements.
Rather than sending each product individually, all items are boxed together for monthly delivery by DPD couriers adding to the company’s sustainability credentials. Future plans include the launch of a higher-cost monthly subscription for professional tradespeople.
