Dior has reopened the doors of its Paris flagship after a redesign that includes the addition of an exclusive apartment, which grants the VIP guests 24-hour access to the store.

The 10,000 square metre flagship on Avenue Montaigne now comprises a gallery space showcasing some of the luxury brand’s couture, a restaurant and patisserie headed up by French chef Jean Imbert and three gardens. Most unique about the new-look flagship, however, is its single private guest suite, which for upwards of $30,000 grants the guest(s) round the clock access to all parts of the store and a team of six to eight staff to wait on them. This includes personal shoppers and chefs.

Guests at La Suite Dior will also be able to enjoy cooking masterclasses with Jean Imbert and can visit the store’s on-site atelier to see the luxury brand’s designers at work. According to architect Peter Marino, the overnight experience fulfils his wish of creating a space where luxury shoppers “can take their time and feel comfortable”.

The gallery space comprises 13 rooms and has its own entrance from the street, a shop and a café, and was inspired by the success of Dior exhibitions in Paris, New York and London in recent years.

Elsewhere, the store carries products across all of Dior’s categories, including ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewellery and beauty.
