Coach has collaborated with AR technology company Zero10 to create an AR activation centred around the popular Tabby Bag at its Soho, New York location. Customers can ‘try on’ the bag without even having to enter the store.
The collaboration makes use of the in-store AR Mirror and AR Storefront technologies. The AR Storefront, making its debut with this installation, allows customers to digitally ‘try on’ the Tabby Bag by projecting a virtual representation onto themselves. Additionally, customers can make use of a photobooth mode, available from 5 May to 5 June, which enables them to capture images of themselves wearing the digital Tabby Bag. These images can then be downloaded and shared on social media using Zero10’s dedicated app.
The AR experience offers customers a wide range of colours and styles for the Tabby Bag, allowing them to explore different variations before making a purchase. Moreover, customers can interact with the AR bag directly on their mobile devices, enhancing their engagement with the product.
This collaboration between Coach and Zero10 marks a significant step forward in merging technology and luxury retail, providing an immersive and interactive shopping experience for customers at the Soho New York store.
