Carrefour Reeborn pop-up awards loyalty points for buying and selling pre-loved items

Carrefour has opened a pop-up concept in the centre of Brussels selling non-food preloved items including clothing, furniture, bicycles and toys.

Open from April through to September 2024, Carrefour Reeborn allows customers to sell second-hand non-food items while earning Carrefour Bonus Points. These points can be redeemed at any Carrefour store, providing an innovative way to promote sustainability and boost customer loyalty.

By allowing customers to trade in their used goods, Carrefour is not only supporting eco-friendly practices but also offering an incentive through the Bonus Points system. This system integrates with Carrefour’s existing loyalty programme, making it easy for customers to benefit from their sustainable choices.

Nearby Carrefour stores can also use the Reeborn pop-up to sell their surplus stock of new non-food products. This dual-purpose approach ensures that the pop-up serves both customers looking to buy and sell second-hand items and those seeking out discount prices.
