Asda has partnered with craft beer specialist Craft on Draught to serve draught beer to customers in reusable bottles.

Customers at Asda’s Milton Keynes store can sample from a menu of 12 regularly-changing craft beers and seek expert advice from dedicated staff to find something to suit their tastes. The concession is located at the end of the beer, wines and spirits aisle.

Once shoppers have selected their beer, a member of staff will use draft beer pumps to freshly pour their selection into a refillable 1L or 2L glass container to be taken away and enjoyed at home.

The bottles can then either be kept and reused, brought back to store to be refilled again or returned and a deposit refunded.

Beers available at launch include Pornstar Martini IPA from Redchurch Brewery and Chew Chew Salted Caramel Milkstout from Fallen Brewing, with 1L of craft beer or cider priced from £5.90 to £8.20.

In addition to a range of alcoholic beers, Craft on Draft will also offer various low and no alcohol beers, such as Big Drop’s 0.5% Paradiso Citra IPA.
