Blue Bite, a New York-based company creating connected product experiences, has partnered with DJ Jordi Ruz to give buyers an exclusive, multi-sensory experience that couples music with a bottle of Tuned Wine.
A mainstay of the Ibiza club scene, the popular Spanish DJ has created unique playlists to complement each bottle of wine. The playlists are accessible via an NFC sticker – allowing users to simply tap their phone on the label and be transported into an immersive listening experience.
Exclusive to those that have purchased the bottle, Tuned Wine aims to adjust each listening experience to fit the character of the wine. For example, the Cabernet Sauvignon wine is paired with Ruz’s “Tears of Joy” session.
In using labelling to add extra value and an experiential layer to the product, the Tuned Wine aims to keep consumers engaged long after they finish the bottle. By digitising the wine with the NFC sticker, Blue Bite can also promote new wine varieties and boost sales by making every bottle a point of sale where consumers can directly buy more products.
