Opened in June 2023, Petco’s latest flagship is a one-stop shop for all things related to pet health and wellness.
The 25,000 square foot, two-storey flagship in Union Square offers a full-service veterinary hospital, a human grade food kitchen called JustFoodForDogs, pet fashion, accessories and portraiture, a beauty salon called Ruff’s Barker Shop, product personalisation area, dog training and indoor park and an adoption zone for cats, provided in collaboration with local animal welfare partners. Those adopting a cat can capture the moment in an on-site photo booth. It’s a truly experiential retail destination with a full schedule of events and activities for pets and their owners.
The interior is designed to reflect the aesthetic of an open-air farmers market, with premium products selected from diverse vendors from the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, female owned and maker communities. The physical store supports e-commerce purchases with click and collect lockers.
