Launched in February 2023, Sourcerie is a beauty shopping platform that uses proprietary software to sift through hundreds of thousands of online reviews and provide personalised beauty recommendations to its customers.
Based on research that showed nearly 80% of consumers said reviews are the most influential factor on their final purchase decision, founders Kristin Cardwell and Alex Beyer decided to scale up this approach with Sourcerie.
Customers can shop based on individual needs, with the platform catering to specific conditions including rosacea, acne, melasma and dandruff. The curation process is also informed by feedback from other users who share similar skin concerns, creating a sense of community-driven recommendations.
