Glassette brings curated homewares to e-commerce

British start-up Glassette is an online platform providing a curated selection of homewares from more than 150 independent brands, including Bias Editions, George Bronwin, David Perry and By Otter.

Founded by interiors influencer Laura Jackson and former senior homewares buyer at END Clothing Daniel Crow, the platform launched in 2021, driven by the uptick in interiors and homewares spending during the pandemic.

The platform offers customers a way to easily shop and browse beautiful and high-quality homewares without having to trawl through Instagram or spend hours tracking down an independent brands’ website. For customers who don’t have a lot of time or homewares novices, Glassette also offers curated edits created by interior tastemakers. Visitors can shop by category or by room – kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.

Throughout the year, Glassette releases ‘drops’ of curated products as well as ‘Glassette Editions’ – exclusive limited edition designs created together with independent makers only available to buy on the platform. In 2022, the platform launched its Original Art Kiosk in an attempt to democratise access to original art for customers and give them the confidence to buy into it.
