The soothing sound of raindrops is a key feature of the café, creating a serene environment. Footage of rain falling plays on digital screens dotted around the building, while a clever trick of engineering makes it appear that rain is falling outside in the courtyard.
Opened earlier in 2023, Rain Report Cafe serves coffee, distinctive caffeinated cocktails, refreshing ice cream and freshly baked pastries. However, the main attraction is undoubtedly the ambience, with visitors flocking to the cafe to enjoy the atmosphere and put together a rain-themed post for social media.
With a minimalist design, the play of light on the walls and ceilings, reflected by the surrounding water, creates a captivating visual display. Despite the monochromatic palette, the watery environment instills a sense of tranquility, allowing guests to unwind and relax.
