Pop-up Zero 10 offers visitors a physical space to try on digital clothes

ZERO10 is a fashion platform that has partnered up with creative design company Crosby Studios to open a pop-up store that aims to bridge the gap between the virtual and the real by providing a “physical gateway into the metaverse.”

It opened in New York’s Soho district and used a mixture of QR codes and AR technology to present shoppers with real-time try-on features and options. The interior of the store was covered with a pixelated design and had no physical clothing.

Shoppers were able to use QR codes in changing rooms to try on the virtual clothes. The next-gen business aims to spotlight up-and-coming digital designers through its platform and offer innovative tech solutions to brands hoping to enter the online world.
