Skincare range uses its packaging to lock consumers into its simple five-step routine

UK-based skincare brand Byoma’s product range is built around a five-step routine that is displayed clearly on the back of its colourful packaging.

Byoma’s range of cleansers, moisturisers, serums and face mists are all geared towards maintaining the health of the skin’s natural barrier, which it achieves through what it calls its tri-ceramide complex.

Each product has a place in an overall five-step routine: Cleanse, Tone/Mist, Treat, Moisturise and Protect. On the back of each product’s packaging, this routine is clearly labelled, along with a marker showing which step of the routine this product achieves. At the same time, the on-pack signage nudges consumers towards the products they need to complete the routine.
