Outdoor equipment and apparel brand Arc’teryx has introduced its first-ever hybrid retail store in New York City equipped with its clothing-care focused ReBird Service Center. The store offers the traditional Arc’teryx retail experience alongside the new service area, which provides on-site product assessment, care and education, fabric renewal, and repairs.
Customers will also be able to shop a curated selection of ReBird Used Gear pieces only available at the store.
The company believes the store provides a “new opportunity for our guests to extend the use of their own gear and get a taste of the Arc’teryx manufacturing experience.”
By building this store experience around its ReBird programme, which promotes circularity, upcycling, resale, and repair, Arc’teryx hopes to differentiate its brand from others in a crowded marketplace.
