The Original Dog Bakery has opened its first permanent location at the Liverpool One shopping mall.
The bakery serves handmade patisserie-style treats that are suitable for canines, made from natural ingredients and containing no added sugar or salt. Treats available include doughnuts, brownies, cookies, popcorn, and even birthday cakes.
With dog ownership having risen in the UK during the pandemic, and considering the tendency among millennials to humanise their pets to a greater extent than previous generations, the Original Dog Bakery is a prime example of a trend we’ve noticed in recent months toward physical spaces geared around premium treats for dogs.
