Audi to launch lounge-style charging hubs for its electric vehicles

Audi has announced plans to open six lounge-style EV charging hubs in Germany that Audi drivers will be able to be pre-book .

The hubs will offer high-power charging that will enable an Audi E-tron GT to charge to around 80% in just 23 minutes.

While drivers and passengers wait for their vehicles to be charged, they will be able to use the hub’s lounge and canteen to relax and have a bite to eat.

While the locations of the hubs haven’t yet been announced, Audi has stated that the hubs are planned for the second half of 2021 and that they will lead to a wider rollout if successful.
