Netflix launches ecommerce shop selling limited-edition merch inspired by its shows

Streaming platform Netflix has taken its first step into ecommerce with the launch of Netflix.Shop.

The ecommerce platform launched in June 2021 selling a curated selection of apparel and lifestyle accessories linked to its popular television shows.

Products available at launch included streetwear and collectable action figures based on Netflix’s leading anime series Yasuke and Eden, Netflix-branded clothing designed by Japanese fashion house BEAMS and decorative items inspired by Lupin made in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre.

In the near future, Netflix has confirmed it will be dropping products related to other popular shows including The Witcher and Stranger Things.
